Power Factor Regulator

EP Power Factor Regulator (PFR), also known as Automatic Power Factor Correction Controller, is a high accuracy intelligent electronic device that maintains a desired power factor (PF) in an electrical network by automatically controlling the connection and disconnection of capacitor banks.

PFR-8 (8 steps) and PFR-16 (16 steps) to handle inductive loads that consume reactive power (lagging PF). Capacitors generate reactive power (leading PF). EP Power Factor Regulator control reactive power from the capacitors to compensate the reactive power required by the inductive loads, bringing the overall power factor closer to 1 (unity).
